"I believe in body language more than words"

Albrecht Schuch is visiting Munich. Yesterday he was at a party, and now he's tired and hungover, wishing for a strong espresso with cold milk and several sachets of Elotrans Reload. He picks at his slightly shriveled lunch salad and says that his girlfriend is very strict: The dressing isn't allowed on the salad until everyone is at the table. He, in turn, is strict about fried eggs: they have to be cooked on both sides and can't be left standing for more than a minute.

Albrecht Schuch, 40, very fit, slightly tanned, is one of the busiest German actors. If you don't know his name right away, just think of Uwe Mundlos in The Perpetrators , the series Bad Banks , System Crasher or Berlin Alexanderplatz and you'll know. Stiller will soon be in cinemas, the film adaptation of Max Frisch's famous novel about a struggling artist who leaves the country, his wife and his lover, doesn't get in touch for years and - or so most people believe - one day returns to Switzerland but doesn't reveal his identity. Then he falls in love with the woman he left behind. Albrecht Schuch plays Stiller, Paula Beer the abandoned wife, the two make a good team.
